Coasthaven Law is dedicated to advancing Indigenous rights and self-determination. We provide First Nations, Métis, and Indigenous communities across Canada with practical, client-centred legal services to advance rights, support self-governance, and meet community goals. Services include specific claims development and negotiation, Nation building and band governance support, land code development, support for navigating government referrals and the duty to consult, and negotiating government-to-government agreements.

Located on Lək̓ʷəŋən Territory

Coasthaven Law is located in Victoria, BC, in the heart of Lək̓ʷəŋən territory on the unceded Indigenous lands of the Songhees Nation and Xʷsepsum (Kosapsum) First Nation. We recognize the enduring connections that these Nations have to this land and will conduct our work in a manner that respects their laws, traditions, and sovereignty.
